"I will sing with the spirit and with the understanding also." - St. Paul
As Episcopalians, we are part of a rich, diverse, and deeply
spiritual musical heritage. Through the inspired work of centuries of composers and
authors, including those writing today, music continues to lift minds and hearts,
expressing our most profound prayer and praise in ways that words alone often cannot.
St. Michael's choirs provide musical leadership for sung liturgies,
present concerts for the parish and Greater Raleigh community, and
offer exceptional musical training to children, youth, and adults so
that they can offer their very best in worship. Training is offered to
choristers in grades 4 through 12 through the Royal School of Church
Music's Voice for Life chorister training program, which enables
singers to reach their full musical potential.
